W: I know. I keep digging myself into a deeper hole by continuing to do it.

M: Just get your priorities in order and know your limits.

W: 할 게 너무 많은데 어디서부터 시작해야 할지 모르겠어.

M: 너 또 일 너무 많이 맡았구나. 넌 항상 네가 할 수 있는 것보다 너무 많은 일을 한꺼번에 맡는 것 같아.

W: 나도 알아. 계속 그러면서 내 상황을 악화시키는 것 말이야.

M: 일단 일의 우선순위를 정하고 네 한계를 인정해.

 

Spread oneself too thin은 너무 많은 일을 무리해서 한꺼번에 처리하는 것을 말하며 dig oneself into a deeper hole은 자신을 더 안 좋은 상황으로 몰 때 쓰는 표현입니다.
